A group of investors have recently purchased the WirelessJobs.com domain name from me. Though I agreed to not announce the amount publicly, I can say it was a strong and impressive acquisition price and represents my 2nd biggest domain name sale. I have owned the domain name for about 10 years or so.
In 2005, I suggested and offered to let
Dennis Smith use the domain name to connect with the wireless community and recruit top wireless talent. He jumped at the opportunity and has since used the domain to build a strong, global community of wireless professionals and it has helped him fill many positions in the wireless industry.
In the newly formed company, Dennis will serve as the CEO. He's excited about creating a one-of-a-kind community built on a "unified communications" platform that will, in his words, "...blow you away."
Stay tuned.
WirelessJobs.com isn't going anywhere. It's just getting better.
