If I had to guess... it would seem to be an 'out of the box' solution where the new owner has fumbled through the template and killed some spacing or code around one of the tables or div's.
Unfortunately I'm seeing what I see wayyyy too much on niche boards. No place to jump right in and search. So geared up around getting the login and email data, some boards forget that they're fighting an attention span in job seekers that can only rival that of a fruit fly!
Heart set on getting that data? They should make the search functional but only allow company name or application info to be visible upon registration. Or (gasp) get the registration information in the application process so that it's seamless.
Having said that - after digging a bit through the sub-menus you can find postings, but again - this doesn't stand out, and isn't that the point if this board is really for the job seekers?
Also - I don't see any jobs on the front page... so what kind of jobs are they? what fields? where are the details?
Not trying to be brutal here, but it would seem that so many sites, boards, applications, etc. get designed by people that aren't using them. Ultimately the functionality may be there but isn't presented the way that the target audience (or user) would expect or require it. It's a shame, really. There are typically so many inexpensive and easy fixes that would make a world of difference.
