I really like twitter even though I thought it was a joke just a few months ago.

I really don't understand what twitter is. Can you help me out. It just seems like a great way to stalk people... ha ha. But seriously how can I benefit from Twitter?

it's like an instant messenger client that allows public messaging. after a week of using it, I am very impressed with it. It's a winner.

A lot of bloggers use it to gain followers (follow people by searching for someone with the same interests/location). Once you follow someone, usually they will follow you back. Then, post a link to your blog posts. It's one way to drive traffic. & Eric, I agree, Twhirl is great.
